What is the PrimeAlux Aluminum Slat System?
PrimeAlux is a modular aluminum fencing, privacy-screen, and outdoor-living system distributed regionally by SHAPES. It combines aluminum posts and rails with lightweight slats manufactured from pre-painted aluminum coil and a polyurethane foam core.
What PrimeAlux fence configurations are available?
- Privacy: Slats are positioned together for full visual screening.
- Privacy Plus: A small H-shaped rail separates and supports the slats.
- Semi-Privacy: Approximately 15 mm of space is provided between slats.
What panel sizes are available?
Common panel sizes include 4 feet high by 6 feet wide and 6 feet high by 6 feet wide. Custom-order configurations may include 4-by-8, 6-by-8, 8-by-6, and 8-by-8-foot panels. Availability should be confirmed when quoting, as longer lead times apply.
Can PrimeAlux be installed on a slope?
Yes. PrimeAlux can accommodate certain sloped installations through approved racking methods and hardware. The slope, panel configuration, direction of the slats, and number of panels must be evaluated before ordering.
Can PrimeAlux posts be installed in the ground or on concrete?
PrimeAlux supports below-ground post installation and above-ground installation using base plate kits, depending on the application. Footing, anchorage, surface condition, wind exposure, and local requirements must be considered.
Is PrimeAlux suitable for pool areas?
PrimeAlux may be used around pools when the selected configuration and installation comply with applicable barrier requirements. Height, openings, ground clearance, gate hardware, climb resistance, and local regulations must be verified before installation.
Is PrimeAlux available in wood-grain colors?
Yes. PrimeAlux is available in wood-grain and solid-color finishes. Current colors, configurations stock status, and lead times should be confirmed through SHAPES when ordering.
