Doug Rende – CEO & President

With over 30 years of executive leadership experience, Doug has driven successful organic and acquisitive growth strategies, sustainable branding initiatives, and digital transformations in the consumer durables, construction, and building materials industries. Over the course of his career, he has successfully led mature businesses, (Tremco CPG, Glen-Gery, and Armstrong Canada), along with profitable start-ups (Pergo, and Noel Group) and acquisitive growth ventures (NASL, Tremco, Ply Gem/Mitten Building Products). In Doug’s previous role as CEO, North American Specialty Laminations (NASL), he spearheaded the integration of three regional acquisitions and two greenfield locations in developing a branded, national manufacturing and distribution capability. Doug has held board of director’s positions within NAHB, NLBMDA, BIA, VSI, SEAL, PRO, NAFCD and NALFA, along with membership in the WDMA, KCMA and AFA organizations. He is a native Philadelphian, and a graduate of Mount Saint Mary’s University and the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton, Aresty Executive School

Andy Gentsy - VP of Finance/Treasurer

Andy Gentsy – VP of Finance/Treasurer

Andy joined Shapes Unlimited in July 2023 as Controller, after 23+ years with Pennsylvania Tool Sales & Service. With the QI 2024 retirement of Jack Colonna, Andy assumed his current role as VP of Finance. Andy holds an accounting degree from Westminster College and an MBA in Professional Accountancy from Ellis University.
Andy has been instrumental in implementing improvements in the utilization of the company’s ERP system and financial reporting, as well as operational improvements.


 

Joe Magni - Director of Operations

Joe Magni – Director of Operations

Joe Magni is a seasoned Operations and Engineering Executive with decades of experience leading large-scale metalworks industrial facilities. He previously served as General Manager of the Warren Cleveland-Cliffs Facility, where he was responsible for Safety, Environmental Compliance, Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Capital investments, and Workforce Leadership.
Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Ohio University and served for many years as an Adjunct Professor at Youngstown State University, contributing to STEM education in Electrical Engineering and Power Plant Operations.
